Conteúdo sobre Direito dos Animais será incluso nas escolas públicas municipais
Foi aprovado na Câmara Municipal de Pedro Leopoldo, projeto de Lei número 15/2021 que dispõe sobre a inclusão dos conteúdos de Direito dos Animais e Proteção Animal nas escolas públicas municipais, norteados pelo respeito ao meio-ambiente, à fauna, à flora e à biodiversidade.
A lei, de autoria do vereador Fred Piau, regulamenta que, os conteúdos descritos no caput serão incluídos nos planos de ensino, em disciplina a ser definida pela Secretaria Municipal de Educação.
A implementação também poderá ocorrer através de projetos e atividades interdisciplinares, palestras, banners informativos e demais atividades da comunidade escolar. Além disso, fica especificado que as despesas decorrentes da execução desta lei correrão à conta de dotações orçamentárias próprias.
